Steven Champeon and Nick Finck take the stage at SXSW to give a talk called “Inclusive Web Design for the Future.” In it, they describe a technique called progressive enhancement, which prioritizes a core experience that is accessible to all users, on all devices and contexts, and then layers on additional design and behaviors using technologies like CSS and JavaScript.
